शक्राशनिसमप्रभम् had the splendour of Indra's thunderbolt, घोरम् terrific, धनुः bow, विस्फार्यः stretching, वानराणाम् at Vanaras, अनीकानि army troops, शरवृष्टिभिः showers of shafts, प्राकिरत् assailed.

कपिकुञ्जरः elephant among the monkeys, अङ्गदः Angada, निमेषान्तरमात्रेण time of twinkling of the eyes दीप्ताक्षः eyes glowing, दण्डाहतः struck by staff, उरगःइव serpent like, उदतिष्ठत rose up.
