सर्वाधिकः all sides, एषः in that way, राक्षसेन्द्रः Rakshasa king, सायकवृष्टिजालैः with volley of arrows, प्रच्छादयतु covering thickly, पतिताग्य्रशूरम् able warriors falling, एतत् this, सर्वम् all, वानरराजसैन्यम् Vanara king's army, च भ्राजते not shining.
Meaning
"This Rakshasa king is covered thickly with volley of arrows on all sides. Able warriors of Vanaras are falling and not happy."
असौ to us, निवृत्तयुद्धौ desisted from combat, गतरोषहर्षे lost pride and happiness, विसंज्ञौ lost consciousness, पतितौ fallen, आवाम् both of us, दृष्टवा seeing, रणाग्य्रलक्ष्मीम् attained prosperity after war, समादाय come, ध्रुवम् surely, अमरारिवासम् abode of enemies of gods, प्रवेक्ष्यति will enter.
Meaning
"This Indrajith is desisting from comb at on seeing us. As the Vanaras have lost pride and happiness and fallen into unconscious state, he would surely think that he has attained prosperity after victory in war and surely enter Lanka, the abode of enemies of god."

Translation
ततः thereafter, सः he, तदा then, वानरसैन्यम् Vanara army, लक्ष्मणेनसह accompanied by Lakshmana, रामं च and Rama, सङ्ख्ये from the battle, एवम् in that way, विषादयित्वा withdrew, यातुधानैः moved to abode, संस्तूयमानः while being praised, दशग्रीवभुजाभिगुप्ताम् protected by Ravana's arms, पुरीम् city, सहसा at once, विवेश entered, हृष्टितः happily, सर्वम् all, पित्रे to father, अभ्वुवाद related.
Meaning
Thereafter Vanara army withdrew from the battle along with Rama and Lakshmana. Indrajith for his part moved to the abode protected by Ravana's arms, while being praised. He at once entered the city happily and related everything to the father. ।। इत्यार्षेवाल्मीकीयेश्रीमद्रामायणेआदिकाव्येयुद्धकाण्डेत्रिसप्ततितमस्सर्गः ।। This is the Seventy third sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by Sage Valmiki.
